The Aston Martin DBS 770 Ultimate - A Heartfelt Farewell to a Iconic Sports Car
Fast-forwarding to the DBS 770 Ultimate, this car is harboring a 5.2liter V12 making 759hp and 644 lb-ft of torque, making it the most powerful production car Aston Martin has made to date. The hulking V12 is mated to a ZF-built eight speed automatic transmission and a standard limited-slip differential. According to Aston Martin this is power is good for a 3.2-second 0-60 time (or 3.4 if you opt in for the convertible version) and a top speed of 211 mph.
This is not by any means your standard DBS, with a whole slew of both mechanical and visual upgrades being added for this vehicles final hurrah. Aston Martin adds a beefier crossmember and ups front-end lateral stiffness by about 25% all while adding a solid mounted steering column for extra road feel. On the outside we get tweaks to the front bumper for increased air flow, a horseshoe shaped hood vent, and 21-inch available in 3 finishes and wrapped in Pirelli P Zero Performance tires. The exterior is not the only area with visual changes. The interior gets standard sports seats sporting quilted alcantra and the center armrest getting a quaint little leather strap on the armrest sporting the 770 Ultimate Logo. The DBS 770 Ultimate is limited to only 499 designations, with 300 of those being coupe models and 199 of them being convertibles. Production of this vehicle is expected to start in Q1 of 2023 and the first of these models are expected to be shipped out in Q3 of 2023. Good luck getting your hands on any of them though, order books are closed, and resale prices are expected to be astronomical if any.
